Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
AUVURE ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your personal information when you use our travel planning service (the "Service").
Information We Collect
Account information: name, email address, username, and profile details you provide.
Trip content: itineraries, destinations, dates, notes, documents, and photos you upload or create.
Payment information: if you subscribe to AUVURE Pro, our payment processor, Stripe, collects and processes your card details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number — we retain limited billing metadata (such as your subscription status, plan, and renewal date) needed to manage your subscription.
Usage data: we collect technical and usage data (such as device/browser information and how you interact with the Service) to operate, secure, and improve it.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments and manage subscriptions, communicate important updates (including billing and security notices), personalize your experience, and maintain the security of the Service. We do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we process your information on the following legal bases: to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), your consent (for optional communications), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and improving the Service), and to comply with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting requirements).
AI Processing
AUVURE uses Anthropic's Claude models to power AI features such as itinerary generation, trip enhancement, packing lists, and document parsing. When you use these features, portions of your prompts and relevant trip information are sent to Anthropic solely to generate a response. We do not use your private trip data to train public AI models, and Anthropic processes this data under its own privacy and data-handling terms.
How We Share Information
We share information with trusted third-party providers who help us operate AUVURE, under their own privacy and security obligations — including Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Resend (transactional email delivery), and Anthropic (AI-powered features). We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of AUVURE or our users.
If you set a trip's visibility to public or publish it via Discover, the content you choose to share (including photos and trip details) becomes visible to other users or the public, by your own choice.
Business transfers: if AUVURE is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
Cookies
We use essential cookies required for authentication, security, and core functionality of the Service. Where applicable, we may use additional cookies or similar technologies for analytics, with your consent where required by law. At this time, the Service does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from your profile settings. Most personal data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days of account deletion, except where retention is required by law, for tax or accounting purposes (for example, billing records), or to prevent fraud.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights & Choices
You can access, update, export, or delete much of your information directly from your profile settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law:
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to data portability — contact us to exercise these rights.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and update the "Last updated" date; for material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
